Solo new Onyxia (level 80 version)

I soloed this on my blood dk as well and got the onyxian drake first run

@hapsap what do you mean "finally"? that mount is less than a 1% drop rate. you'd be lucky to get it in under 500 runs.

I 2 manned this on the ptr, and my god, I thought the trash would spawn her on the ground again, I had no idea you had to drop her below 40%. It was a blood dk (me) and a resto shammy. We 2 manned naxx, a bit of icc (ldw, and marrowgar) then we did OS (took fucking FOREVER to find a strat that worked) we tried the black temple, couldn't get passed the guy who has the 3 faces (Not enough interrupts >_>) so we did sunwell (Which actually worked, we plowed through it with ease)

i've been able to hit her with a couple melee abilities the spot where she is usually tanked, other than that idk if she's in range, i was barely able to make the jump where i did hit

nice work. best ive done with ony is 2man her with my lock friend. my gear is way more crappy then yours so it was fairly hard.

...and to all the others mumbling about the offline Draenei:

you need at least one other char in the group to create a raid and keep it alive ! if the other leaves while your in the raid instance, its ok, but the raid is already dismissed, so you can't run back into the raid instance when you're dead through wiping - so if you want to solo a raid and don't want to re-invite somebody every time you die, you just take some twink who's offline and it's fine, raid still remains !

Its the other way around, the new one IS hitable in melee, while the old one wasn't, at least I only did the lvl 80 version with my rogue in raids and there it worked in P2, didn't raid earlier :)

you just need to be close to Ony, when she is near the wall, there (surprisingly) you CAN hit her :)

This is a Dreanei DK you scrubs, hence the Ally in the party? Check the link in the posters comment right under vid. Also very possible with the right gear, blood shield is ridiculously op
