This made me so happy. I don't watch this show regularly, but I stumbled upon this scene while channel hopping. Stan's the Man!

I hate the Heroes show! I tried to watch a couple of episodes and both the plot and acting was so horrible I couldn't even finish a single episode! Take this crap off the air and just make an X-men show with real people I guarantee you it would have a larger fan base!

Its hardly a rip off. We still don't know how the heroes get their powers. Plus, Heroes is about super powers in the real world. People in heroes don't pull on tights and save old ladies from being mugged. They have to hide from the world.

Cap is one of the greatest superheroes (in my opinion) because of how patriotic and how proud he was of america and how he helped save it in its time of need. Show some respect!

he never really translated outside the States though. Fair enough the original comics were half decent, but the 80's film was appalling, and the constant "Without America you couldn't have won the war" overtones don't sit well in a country that fought in said war for 3 years longer than the states. I may go and see the new film as it's said to be closer to the original story

Maybe it's just me, but Stan Lee has to be the coolest old man in the world right now. Even his voice sounds action packed and enthusiastic, as if he's narrating a comic book all the time.

That is ABSOLUTELY TRUE. And JACK KIRBY CREATED MOST OF THE CHARACTERS STAN DID DIALOGUE FOR so Stan is now in THIRD. Comics are a visual medium and Stan did a great job of ENHANCING the work of Kirby and Ditko but to call Stan THE CREATOR is IGNORANT despite how hard he tries to tell you the ideas were his. ASK TOP ARTISTS IN THE FIELD, including FRANK MILLER, Neal Adams and Alex Ross who was the TOP DOG! JACK 'KING' KIRBY, who was first referred to as 'KING' by the mere 'man' Stan Lee. DIG IT!

JACK KIRBY WAS THE TRUE SUPER-HERO CREATOR for Marvel. If you think Kirby was just drawing Stan's ideas you need to look at the facts. Kirby joins Marvel and shortly after, they have a thousand new and inventive characters. Kirby leaves Marvel and creates an entire universe of characters for D.C.! Many are still huge. Stan, at this time, QUITS WRITING. Jack comes back to Marvel and creates more characters that are still quite big. The facts are undeniable. Stan was good but JACK WAS THE KING.

If you love comics, you need to know THE TRUTH. This is why Stan Lee calls JACK KIRBY 'The King'. Without JACK KIRBY... NO MARVEL! Without Stan Lee... In case you're wondering, Stan is the bus driver. He's also in Spiderman 3 - the guy that says"Guess one person can make a difference" to Peter when he first sees the sign saying that Spidey will be given key to the city.
