I, personally, don't care which system i play on. There isn't much difference at all. Plus, my PS3 version NEVER looked like the one shown here. It was EXACTLY like the 360 version shown here.
This video is irrelevant now that it's been fixed with a patch. You should really add that to your comments or remove the video altogether rather than confuse potential buyers. Wouldn't you feel bad if you made a PS3 user go out and buy a 360 just because he thought it would make this game play smoother only to find out it's nearly the same now?

Yeah the only reason I dont have a PS3 is because I bought it when it was called xbox 360. I dont favor microsoft over sony by any means, it's just that I owned the other already. If i were better off financialy I would maybe consider owning both, but it's a reasonably sound decision not to. The difference isn't substantial enough, unless you are dumb enough to buy into blue ray technology which will just be replaced again in two years.

@ThowHilton I own a ps3, run the vid at 720p and pause at 25 seconds. It should show a chair - look at the textures, the 360 is more defined. Another point is to look at the framerate counter at the bottom.
But really its a good game for both consoles!! (since the ps3 patch that fixed loading and framerate)
I'm glad to see these cutsceans are at least nice on the PS3, but the gameplay, and in game cutsceans are horrid. I was very sad to see they did such a poor port to the PS3 because it's a very fun game. There are many side by sides for this 360 vs. PS3, PS3 only edges out the 360 in these CS's by a bit, but gameplay is so choppy and faded on the PS3 there is no comparison. 'Tis why I got it for the 360, and not the PS3. Though Bayonetta is awesome, no question about that.
I like the PS3's darker/sharper/less faded colors, and the framerate didn't seem to get very bad, and was at least not noticeable...for a cutscene. I'm not about to get a 360 just for this (though my sister's boyfriend might grab one), but I just may grab the thing, especially with that loading times patch out.
I love the lengths people go to actually ascertain which has better graphics and so on. Just play the game: also they make patches, as they did for the PS3 version of this.
Well my friend who owns a xbox 360 agrees with me that games we both have in common (mw2, nhl2010, and read dead) all look better on the ps3. Hes an xbox fan boy, or should i say was, and he even came to admit he wants to buy a ps3 because the games look better. He said he couldnt see people in certain spots while playing MW2 online but when he played on my Ps3 he said he was able to see those spots where he usually cant see people. I had a 360 but the crap got Red Rings...
anyway, the dropping of framerates are noticeable on the ps3. funny though since sega is a japanese company and should also be perfect on the ps3 since sony is also a japanese company, but sadly, no. and what's with the praises about the PS3's powerful hardware, i must say, that would be USELESS if game developers CAN'T utilize its capabilities. anyway, i'm not a fanboy of either of the two, i'm just sharing my thoughts about it.
@onlineplaying if they used an hd cable for ps3 it would look better. i have both and have hd outputs for both on an LCD and i have to say the ps3 is better graphics-wise
@rebirthovan I think in such a game as this, its more of the framerate that needs the full attention not the visuals. Cause if the frames are dropping or are lo win a cutscene, image the gameplay during heavy actions moments. I believe the frame rate was fixed for the ps3 version by a patch, but lets be honest. Sega screwed up the port. Engines built for the 360 dont go over to the ps3 very well, but ones built for the ps3 and ported over to 360s tend not to have issues. (or fewer)

I Think both of these are 360 versions. I have seen this game on both consoles, and it really is the worst port to the PS3 ever made, the PS3 version looks nothing like this video. At least there is barely any games that have bad ports.
@NFSKing None of these are the PS3 version. Look up some other comparisons of this game on you-tube, there you will see how they really look on each console. Who ever made this, put 2 360 versions together with different lighting together, and called one PS3 version.
In my opinion the best version is the PS3. It doesn't look grainy like the 360 version. That's what I don't like about the 360 it looks like there is a flim on everything. The graphic outline is blocky. Now if I put a game on a blu ray disc and it takes up the whole space the graphics are going to be mind boggling cause there is room for that to happen. With the 360 the discs are standard dual layered dvds you don't get the best quality and in some games that may be sacrificed.

The 360 is not as powerful as the PS3 and break down far to often, I've gone through 6 360s and my 6th one is now suffering from RoD in less then 2 years, I'm still on my 1st PS3.
Both systems are good for gaming, just depends what you like playing, but honestly in fear of my 360 breaking down, I only get 360 exclusives, unless I can get it on my PC (IE Mass Effect 2 and most of my FPS games), and if it's non-exclusive I get it for my PS3.
@alekz8a i wouldnt say 'must' but i will say it should be optional...PS3 just added their PLUS system, which gives you benefits beyond simply playing. however, i know paying 40 a year for xbox live is worth knowing every time i get online it will be stable and there are ways to get microsoft to pay you back for effing up...

xbox 360 is no question better here although i prefer the ps3 cuz of the controller and im not used to pressing only one button for dodging i use R1+X regularly since i keep an eye to my target's movement by shooting them. this are all based on my opinions.

Here is a prime example of why the XBox 360's graphics and the PS3 graphics are almost identical. You may notice the PS3 graphics are slightly darker, but that can be adjusted. I'm sick of people saying graphics for PS3 are better than Xbox 360 and vice versa. They are pretty much the exact same.

This argument is really stupid. This particular game was "ported" from Xbox 360 to PS3. Had it been the other way around it would be the opposite argument. They're both excellent systems, and I think we can all agree that both of these platforms are better than Wii.

I Think both of these are 360 versions. I have seen this game on both consoles, and it really is the worst port to the PS3 ever made, the PS3 version looks nothing like this video. At least there is barely any games that have bad ports.

@NFSKing None of these are the PS3 version. Look up some other comparisons of this game on you-tube, there you will see how they really look on each console. Who ever made this, put 2 360 versions together with different lighting together, and called one PS3 version.

In my opinion the best version is the PS3. It doesn't look grainy like the 360 version. That's what I don't like about the 360 it looks like there is a flim on everything. The graphic outline is blocky. Now if I put a game on a blu ray disc and it takes up the whole space the graphics are going to be mind boggling cause there is room for that to happen. With the 360 the discs are standard dual layered dvds you don't get the best quality and in some games that may be sacrificed.

And the only difference I see here is the brightness.
It looks brighter on the 360...which is not a good thing for this game.
Since the whole "theme" and "atmosphere" for this game is dark and mysterious.

*this is an example of why the 360 plays with less slowdowns

The 360 is not as powerful as the PS3 and break down far to often, I've gone through 6 360s and my 6th one is now suffering from RoD in less then 2 years, I'm still on my 1st PS3.
Both systems are good for gaming, just depends what you like playing, but honestly in fear of my 360 breaking down, I only get 360 exclusives, unless I can get it on my PC (IE Mass Effect 2 and most of my FPS games), and if it's non-exclusive I get it for my PS3.

@alekz8a i wouldnt say 'must' but i will say it should be optional...PS3 just added their PLUS system, which gives you benefits beyond simply playing. however, i know paying 40 a year for xbox live is worth knowing every time i get online it will be stable and there are ways to get microsoft to pay you back for effing up...
its just lovely knowing i dont have to pay 80 dollars a year really hehe.

The 360 was better everytime. Please PS3 do not argue with official game titles, there are just 1-3 great official PS games like Metal Gear. Seriously compare two 3rd-person shooter. Xbox360 (Gears of War) and Playstation3 (Killzone). I think you dont even have to decide. I dont buy a PS3 for just 1-3 good games. The rest of the PS3 is total fucking garbage! @Awesome1601 instead of Stating what games you thought or think are the best games, do a pole of all exclusive titles to both systems and find out what's popular and then do a percentage comparison, also don't leave it to a specified group, and what I mean is, don't grab a whole bunch of guys who like FPS and ask them... I mean include EVERYONE into the study even your mom, dad, and grand parents. that way you then have numbers to back up your opinions and then can truly say "this is the best"

It does look more detailedl in Xbox since it was developed specially for it, BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THE PS3 VERSION IS AN "ABOMINATION TO THE VIDEOGAME WORLD" AT ALL!
The Ps3 versions takes slighty longer loads but theres already a patch that fixed that, so...DONT BE SUCH CRY BABIES.
This is not a console issue, its a videogame import issue.
Hopefully when Bayonetta 2 comes out, we wont have any trouble again.

@iMrzDanielle nope, the PS3 is newer and more up to date. it has SEVEN freaking processors each running at 3.4GHz and more RAM and better video card, but the programming system sucks and not even SONY knows how to use it to it's potential, so this means it is still useless. case reopened!

u are a fucking moron. PS3 does not have 7 processors. PS3 only has one processor called the CELL. The cell processor internal structure is subdivided into 8 regions 7 for usage and 1 for reserve.

xbox 360 is no question better here although i prefer the ps3 cuz of the controller and im not used to pressing only one button for dodging i use R1+X regularly since i keep an eye to my target's movement by shooting them. this are all based on my opinions.

Here is a prime example of why the XBox 360's graphics and the PS3 graphics are almost identical. You may notice the PS3 graphics are slightly darker, but that can be adjusted. I'm sick of people saying graphics for PS3 are better than Xbox 360 and vice versa. They are pretty much the exact same.

They aren't equal. I'm not a fanboy but it's true. Have a look at Metal Gear Solid 4 or The last guardian. They are not on 360 because X box isn't as advanced as the PS3.
