Some of the U of M fans are tools but most are pretty good. Many of the ones in the student section on Friday games last year were idiots. Saturday games tended to have the more knowledgeable fans who were there to enjoy the game rather than get hammered and make an ass of themselves.

Maybe you shouldn't watch videos you don't like. If you actually had a clue about hockey then you wouldn't say anything....Especially when it comes to the Gophers. Anyone who is cheering for the opposing team in the other teams student section deserves it.

I too am sorry to see such disrespect. I have a video that shows that Gopher fans arn't all that great when they visit Madison either. Check out BUCKYSTEIN (#6)Vs. Madison, WI: Halloween Freakfest and try to "explain away" The Gopher fan in that video.

I just wouldn't dare wear my Gopher jersey in the STUDENT SECTION at UW, UND, or SCSU. (Shoot, I don't dare wear it in the general admission section at UW, where I've had trash thrown at me, sworn at, and saw my friends get beer dumper on them!)

Bad behavior, by a couple of drunken morons does not represent the rest of the fans. BUT,2 words: STUDENT SECTION! Anyone stupid enough to move into an opposing student section (where you DID NOT HAVE TICKETS TO) is asking for trouble. Next time, "Murphy" & friends should claim-jump seats elsewhere, if they/you are unhappy with the tickets they purchased.
