  • how to open 3ds max model in vue 7?...can u give where can i get vue 7 tutorial?...im new user for vue 7...and this is my first time use this software..can u guide me?

  • Export as 3DS file from Max Scene file Import into Vue....Simple.

  • To export you need to save it as a specific type of file by using an export function under file. Newdawn Said to save it as a 3DS file. I have never used 3D max before. But I can help you with the Vue part. Did you want me to make a tutorial about getting Vue 7 or did you want me to tell you were the vue 7 demo is. I will be glade to guide you.

  • thanx magalanch..if u can guide me to use basic rendering in vue how to start from A to Z ( basic ) how to insert material..how to animate the camera and the preparation for rendering mode... : )..is it vue 7 and vue 6 have same function?

  • maybe u can guide me where is the vue 7 demo ...or tutorial..

  • Can i create my own models and caracters on Vue?

  • Vue, is basically a landscape animator, so you can't make models or characters with vue. You can put together Basic shapes and create your own texture and build your own mountains. I think some versions have plant editors. Poser is another program that is compatible with vue, it is good for making models. And Shade is compatible with both and is used for making objects. If you want me to make a tutorial I will be glade to.

  • Im not sure of purchase both..but id like to do some trailer or small video for a comic im doing with traditional media, maybe could be an interesting idea.

  • your welcome

  • Hi! Can you help me? I whant to duplicate animation to another object. How I can do this?

  • Yep, i can help you. To start the first object (object 1) needs to be set up with the animation. Then create the second object in witch you want to duplicate the animation to (object 2). Highlight object 2. In the top right corner there is an object window. right above object 2's texture there are three tabs. Click the third tab. The texture window should be replaced Motion, Track, and Link to. Change Track to the name of object 1 and link to; to the name of object 1 as well. CONTINUED

  • CONTINUED.... The two objects will move at the same time. I do not know how to seperate this motion yet but I will keep playing with it. If you did not understand this I will gladly make a tutorial it will be no trouble to me.

  • You know,I whant to make dogfight, and this tracking system doesn't help for swinging object .I manual was writen that you copy object with animation, then select object in witch I want to duplicate animation and from edit meniu chose paste animation, but for me this button is grey, and I can't paste animation. whay?

  • You are right. What I told you would not work right for what you want to do. I tried what you said but I can not find the paste animation option. Are you using Vue 6 Esprit.

  • no i'm using xStream

  • o, I have never used xStream. I am sorry I was not able to help you.

  • it is a more simpler way to get the camera to follow object. In your right side screen you can click on a "Track" button, then choose what object you want the camera to follow. good luck:)

  • thanks i will try that

  • hmm. 3ds max is a animation program right? Unfortunitly I believe Vue works only with Poser and shade, but i am not completly sure. If you are just using the inport function try to load or save the object instead. This may work in a different way. Sorry if I was no help with your question I have never used 3ds max only vue.

  • hey m8. im all new to Vue, i have Vue 7 stream. and i was just wondering how can i use this for 3ds max ? everytime i try to add an object from vue 7.stream feature in 3ds max, i get some cinde of plane and then there is a light and when i reder i get an untextured model, how can i place out individuall object from Vue intro 3ds max such as trees etc. ?
