I was so happy when this showed up in the first boss battle, even though I kept on getting my ass handed to me the whole battle

I'll admit, it's a good boss battle music, but the thing about this is, why is called Unexpected Fight, when it pretty much goes without saying that they ARE going face off against a boss? the name could have been changed for the better.

@SliverWindVulpin21 It's not really a boss theme. It's used against enemies and fights that are a lot stronger than normal ones, and you wouldn't know this until you engage them. So it is kinda, "unexpected".

@3LancePro @SilverWinVulpin21 Not only that, but it's used when you come across enemies that look a lot like the other enemies in the area (just colored differently), but are actually stronger than they appear. They usually drop an accessory or weapon!

this game is awesome, for those who hate the VA, if you happen to have a modded wii there are hacked versions that have the original japanese audio with english text, I love this game :)

I should warn you that the voice acting ranges from meh to atrocious...If you don't like bad VA, you may want to turn them off. :P

@LatiasDita Of course, if you can survive the less than stallar VA, Arc Rise Fantasia is one heck of a JRPG. Bosses can be downright brutal, and despite what they say in pro reviews, grinding isn't gonna get you anywhere.

@GhostOfRazgiz I have never played a JRPG where they put so much emphasis on buff spells for boss fights. If you don't buff yourself and debuff the boss, it's a wipe!

The only other RPG that comes to my mind that gives that much importance to party buffs is WoW!

@LatiasDita All but one VA will grow on you eventually. Heck, 5 hours into the game and I'm already used to their voices. The ONLY one I can't stand is Adelle's btichy voice, damn that's just bad throughout the whole game =.='
