@teddie488 Indeed! it IS beautiful. I really like when he put such raw emotion into a song...despite that "outlaw image", he really was an emotional person...very gentle...
@RevLFD A part of me thinks that this "outlaw image" Waylon Jennings supposedly projected was blown way out of proportion.Just because you're not a company man and don't want to do things anybody else's way but your own doesn't necessarily make you an outlaw by my definition.
The pic of Waylon & Jessi at 0:32 must be from the "Leather & Lace" photo session. And Jessi undoubtedly was the woman Waylon sang his love songs to. :)
This is such a beautiful song:he has that something special when he sings that makes him stand out:He heard right about people loving his songs.Terrific.
Ya know, he put out so many awesome songs that they couldn't all be released as singles....Seems like most poeple, other than true Waylon fans, only heard the singles on the radio...If only they knew what they were missing! I guess they do now.
thanks TJ, and the thing is, there are so many, the whole catalogue is simply treasure and i bet there is a lot more that as not yet been unearthed TC
I'm absolutely sure he sang this song to his dear Jessi...that lucky lady! Agree with Tuks on this....and she loved him right back! She had to have....
I think Waylon could make just about anyone love him with his voice and chosen words, I've heard it said that it is all over now because of him no longer being here anymore, but that's not exactly true. In his book he said " a person's work can't always be finished in a life time, and there are people who can still use that work to continue your work."
Waylons Fans will still love him and because if his work, Yes Waylon as left us, He as left us a whole load of treasures with which we will remember him by and his work continues . Waylon Still Rocks
WAYLON your gone but not FORGOTTEN!!!
”thanks Teddie for your AWESOMEchannel”
