  • Get up on that roof and ventilate....

  • wtf that guy is right in the smome and with noo scba dont let someone from osha see that

  • The seccond appliance did a great job of blocking the road in.

  • I didnt see one FF with a pike pole or a hook. I know they are volunteers with limited manpower but from what I can see, they needed that first line inside and and pulling ceilings. Having said that, theres a small window for that tactic to work.

  • Bitch shut the fuck up! why you need to respond to a month old post

shows that you are the childish bitch that acts like a bleeding woman.

You Are A Bitch!!! Why don't you.........???? Man you are a bitch!!!

  • @richsolomon1 is bitch the only cuss word you know? the way you talk makes you sound like a 15 year old. its YouTube. take it easy. EVERYONE is tougher on the internet...

  • @richsolomon1 What is he?

  • NEVER use a deck gun with crew inside you can see a line through the front and if the next in truck is a tanker this may tell you there is a water issue, this is also illustrated with short burs with the 2 1/2 out side.

  • think something is wrong hear I did i see a rit team ?

this is an defensive attack .

    no ambulance ?

who was in charge of what 1 white helmets no clear command on this recording anyway.

this call has good and bad in it

    nfpa 1500 anyone?

  • A Class1 department you yahoo! Now say something bitch!!!

  • @richsolomon1 Charlston is a class 1 too and they killed ff's as well simmer down paid bitch

  • im not even trained and i coulda did better.

  • Ladders? Chain Saws? Pike Poles?

  • @macksennett do not for dump tank or porta tank to dump water

  • If you couldn't tell the asisting dept responded with tankers only and we don't carry air packs on our tankers, and all of the blame is to be rest on Battlefield FD they were in control of the scene

  • What the hell was this?!!!!!!! No interior attack at all, people walking around with no PPE and no air packs??

Hey Shinnefire some of us know and have been trained to firefight with real departments. We know stupidity when we see it.

  • @richsolomon1 Exactly which department trained you? I'd be interested to know if they've ever made a mistake. Obviously they have gotten some real winners as evidenced by you, or are you just a 12 year old son of a vollie?

  • @richsolomon1 if you watch the first vid there is a line going in to the first floor either the home owner was pre planing or a firefighter brought it in. Your comments is exactly why there r fewer and fewer vids great way to hinder training how about you stop reading magazine articles in the squad room and preaching what you don't even practice and if you knew how to read smoke you would know there was a team inside. SO CLIMB DOWN FROM YOUR SOAP BOX SUT UP AND PUT SOME FIRE OUT !

  • It's amazing how many experts are viewing this video. That's sarcasm by the way.

  • Just a question: is this in Nowhere USA where firecrews never get any training? This situation is a great example of what not to do at a housefire. No truck, no ventilation, no coordination between the hose teams, FF's not in full PPE, all in all not very pretty

  • @dandoosh90 wow the fire is self vented first off and not every one needs a truck co they have there place and this isn't

  • WOW crews interior and 2 hose lines working outside, Awesome tactics!! I really like the guy with NO gear, NO SCBA raising a ladder in the front of the house that is burned away, and did anyone else notice the conditions at the end of the video? Still moving fast and the color of the smoke wasnt getting that much better!! Get more training guys, coordinated fire attack, check it out!!

  • Is that a white hat packed up at 1:58.

  • DITTO.

  • How come I don't see 1. Ground ladder setup and 2. a Ladder truck of some sort whether it be a tower or a stick. Just curious. I mean I realize its mostly exterior attack but from what I saw 2 guys went in and no roof ventilation was done from the looks of it, not bashing just curious as to why these things werent done.

  • BFFD doesnt have a ladder of its own

  • why didn't they use the deck gun

  • not sure however i think this was an offensive attack though that maybe why

  • oh ok hey check your messages i sent you one

  • u dont offensively attack a fire from the outside, im not judging and i know it s a smaller town. But there were some fire ground shenanigans going on here. HAVE TO VENTILATE...... its critical

  • yes the mutraul aid was there the rescue in the video that said brookline as well they brought three tankers and another rescue, Nixa sent a Engine and a battalion

  • @fireman050 With what manpower???

  • 1st due engine in had awsome placement less of leaving the supply line at the corner and having to hump it they did an awsome job...where the hell's the truck company...wide open fron tof the building...

  • Battlefield operates out of two stations for now anyways and runs and engine all the time out of both they do not have a truck.

  • I see...well even so dont they have mutual aid ( outside companys ) responding with other equipment...a truck would have been very benificial on this fire...truck crews dont just climb ladders they can open up walls do extensive overhaul etc..etc..

  • I know brookline and Nixa were their mutral aid. Station 6 of springfield was down the street and the have a huge ariel truck. But the houses location would be pretty hard to put a ladder in there even on C side cause there were powerlines

  • Considerind most of the fire showing was coming from the garage area, and it was on the first floor, the only actual fire on floor 2 was exterior for the most part. Im on an engine company and IDK where youre from, but most engine companies are trained in extensive overhaul as well. Plus, an ariel, platform, or tower woul get in the way.

  • if you look close the attic was was pretty well envolved in fire

  • Yeah I see that now. I guess an above attack would have been useful. It always is difficult to set up, especially a tower in a confined residential area. It would have been useful .

  • Holy moley--a kid on a bike in 20 degree weather--ah to be a kid again! It was 20 here and I was huddled in my apartment with a blanket and the TV remote lol!

Great video! Nice work by the FD too!

  • are there no fire hydrants in this area?

  • not in that nieghdor hood. The street behind the house Golden did have a hydrant

  • A few qeustions.

    1. Does the city have fire hdyrants?

    2. Did they find the cause?

    3. Was your dad there?

    3.

  • yes the disrtist does but not that part of city. Golden the road behind there had a hydrat so they water shuttled from that hydrant.

the cause was a water heater

my dad was there he was the one on the cell phone. We were going to the store when we heard the dispatch so we went

  • oh, alot of house fire where I live are set by arson.
