I love at 5:38 how it sounds like a siren from a firetruck passing down the road in the mellos. I hope people grasp the full concept of this show. I first did at about 8:55. I don't want to spoil it for anyone. But damn. What a powerful show. And what a topic to choose to perform.
I found the synthesiser disatracting, bordering on irritating. Otherwise I love the sound of the hornline and drumline are producing so early in the season.
Just some random thoughts as I am watching... I like the tease of "Slaughter". On The Town was really nice with some nice moments in there. Needs more visual and much less synth. Baritone line is strong as are the contras. Lacking a lot on the visual palette. Would really like to see some visual contrast with the guard... grey suits a nice idea but.... Again, FAR FAR too much on the electronics... It's not necessary!
@cainanuk The one thing I could possibly add to your statement about visual contrast within the guard is that they could still be using practice flags, so there could be a definite change in visual color once show flags are added.
