Soccer arguably requires equal skill and hard work, but certainly not as much athleticism. Besides, half the reason soccer is so popular around the world is because you can play soccer on any surface on any space provided you have enough of it and something to mark your goals. Basketball requires a court facility.
You can call it boring if you want, but you can't call it unskilled and predictable. Heck I think soccer is boring, but that's my opinion.
You're uninformed if you call basketball unskilled, and predictable.
You need footwork, dribbling skills, tempo control, court vision (it gets a lot more crowded on a basketball court than on a soccer pitch and passes have to be made accurately and very fast. Not to mention shooting skills, post-up skills, proper defense, defensive sets and offensive sets. Athleticism (not just aerobic fitness like in soccer) also goes a long way; that is the ability to jump and spin and weave through traffic.
madangels is another whiny faggot from europe who dances around with a soccer ball and then gets mad about how he cant play real sports-dude, this is a dunk clip. Can you dunk, or dunk on a 7 foot dude like Jason Terry does in this clip? doubt it!
hes not short 6 2. there are people who are 5 9 and under who can jam get some hops-i am 6 and i cant throw down hard dunks, but then again, i also can jump about three feet below my feet
Can any1 explain to me what makes basketball a skilled sport? It's so boring and predictable, just like American football and Baseball..Can't stand american sports, the best you got is Ice Hockey by a mile...The biggest world sport is Football (Or as u know it 'soccer') So why don't you dig this at all?? And don't say it's 'for girlz'..There's more injuries in football than any other sport in the world.
soccer doesnt require as much athleticism as basketball or football-thats why english people and spanish people cant play them, they dont have the athleticism
Have you ever played basketball? I'm guessing you haven't, but if you have, you must not have played against very skilled defenders if you think it is so easy. Your comments are so ignorant it makes me sick. Basketball, when played at a high level, requires more body control, dexterity, strength, and athletic versatility than any other sport... BY A MILE.
theres not more injuries in soccer there is more flops
