honestly the cobalt isnt that bad of a car. yes a corvette is amazing but you have to think about it this way. the cobalt has the highest gas mileage of any car in its class with 34 mpgs. then it also has the most power and biggest cylinders with a 2.2 liter. while the civic has 1.8 and the focus has 2.0 makeing it more efficiante for its amount of power it produces for a smaller car.

Great commercial. That's an LS2 '05 C6. As for mileage my '98 C5 has 409 rwhp with heads/cam/full bolt on and exhaust and gets 31-33mpg highway @70-75 mph

And the ZR1 has 63x hp not 1k. Somebody said something about sleeper. Sleepers are fun sometimes. My Vette on the other hand is so far from a sleeper it's not even funny. Between the cam Lope at idle and the LT headers thru a catless X-pipe and B&B mufflers it's about the loudest car i've heard in my area. Registered over 125dB at a local car show and won first place for loudest pipes. I beat out cars that were running straight off headers

go to the official EPA website and look at stock numbers. You'll see many Corvettes (5.7 for example) get better mileage than a Honda S2000 which is 2.0 liters.

Engine size isn't the entire deciding factor in gas mileage. The Vette's large engine allows it to churn along effortlessly, where you have to push small engines.

For what it's worth i drive a 1.8-litre Corolla XRS.

Honda civics have gotten 33-39 highway and it is not too absurd to believe 33 out of a vette if it is driven correctly. The 505 horsepower Z06 gets an EPA 26 MPG highway.

actually I drive my car like i stole it. I'm on the throttle all the time and i get 20-24 mpg. That's average after racing anyone and anything that wants some. including on ramps. you can get 33 mpg -36 going 55 mph in 6th gear. you get about 28-30 going 80. The thing is a gas sipper if you drive it responsibly.
