Well getting dvds onto your computer is different than how Jordan got his clips for this. For this contest, decknique and Dan and Dave released some clips available to people so they could edit them together for the contest.
This was Jordan's submission to a contest where you had to create a trailer for the Trilogy. I believe Jordan used Sony Vegas 7, but correct me if I am wrong.
There was a mix of things here; from 00:00 - 00:30 the soundtrack is the same as that used in one of the "Live Free or Die Hard" trailers. From them onwards I used a track called "Assault" created by Immediate Music.
This one did kick ass, but I did see one flaw. Which kinda irritated me because it was one word from perfection, and that word was "AND" At about 1:02 when you say "Tricks...AND Flourishes...AND Everything Else...I think the "AND" on Flourishes could have been left out and it would have sounded more like the Trilogy (tricksflourishesandverythingelse) but that's just me being really nitpicky.
Oh really? When they first announced it, it was titled "tricksandflourishesandeverythingelse" -- even the "The Q's" video on dananddave says that. Hmm, I guess they changed it over time.(?)
Anyway, thanks for the update on that though, glad you liked it.

P.S. I just checked my Trilogy box, and they word it exactly as I do, lol.
I guess what I was trying to get at was; how the way everything was flowing in your video, that it just seemed proper to myself that it should say Tricks...Flourishes...And Everything else. But once again, that's just my own personal opinion of the matter. And it's not the huge issue I may have sounded it out to be.

You had no shot at winning the contest. You did a fantastic job, but you put the 20th Century Fox logo in it. They aren't affiliated with them and would not want their logo in it. Other than that it was pretty good.
Thanks for your honest opinion. However in my defence I did message them personally and asked if this would be okay to use, as a sort of "joke". They explained it would be okay, and it would not change anything regarding the voting.
