OMG my vizsla does the same thing to this day lol... and she's 6!!!! She always has to sleep on my lap... or under the covers between my legs hahaha!!!! I wuv her to death :o)

My Abby girl certainly thinks she's human. Seeing this video certainly brought back some memories. The first night the wife put her in the bathroom on a fluffy bed after I left for work. When I came home, those big brown eyes got me. For 10 years now, she has cuddled up in bed with us since. Always under the covers and in between. She's always kept me company on the couch as well. Vizslas are truly remarkable dogs.

He sleeps like this with me all the time, they have the sweetest personality, I was in love the moment i got him.

These dogs defiantly love attention.. mines a very spoiled little brat, but they are very active and have a loooot of energy aswell.

LOL, I've got 2 of them living with me and even at 4 and 5.5 years old they crash hard cuz they play so hard. I loved the comment that she thinks she's a human, if she is like mine they think other dogs are a different species then they are.

I love vizla dogs. They can run for HOURS AND HOURS ON END, making it impossible to ever have them get as sleepy as this puppy. In a year or so: this puppy will NEVER rest, and will always be driving you INSANE! But i still love my dog =)

yea, she's almost three and still lets us hold her like a baby. I can't do it because she's too heavy but my husband loves to hold her like that.

Too cute. I have a 4 month old Vizsla and when he is tired he acts just like that. My husband says I need to stop making him a lap dog, but soon I won't be able to hold him like that! Enjoy it!

I m not an expert with dogs. but as much as I could understand, vizlas are too attached to their masters and need attention constantly. but they are of course extremely loyal. need moderate amount of exercise.

rhodesian on the other hand are quite independent, loyal but no where comparable to vizlas. but they need a lot of exercise. the commonality between both breeds is that they both need a lot of space (not fit for apartment living), and are both robust dogs with very few health issues

I agree. They are 'velcro dogs' and would be happy to spend every moment with you, but with the right training it shouldn't be a problem. Our viz spends most of the week day by himself and has no separation anxiety - but he also gets AT LEAST 3 hours of exercise a day, plus training.

My Vizsla acts like a person, too. I think it's a Vizsla thing... And, trust me, if you hold her like that now, she'll NEVER grow out of it. Henry, my 3 year old V, STILL likes to sit in my lap like a baby. So silly!

My Vizsla, Cy, thinks he's a lapdog, and he is 15 months now! They never outgrow the need to be near you. They follow you from room to room, and keep you in their sight. So loyal and loving, the best!! But I'm sure you've already found that out! :) Great video of a beautiful dog!

Awe how old is she here? What color are there eyes? is there a set standard. She is a real doll. Check my page and see what my guy looks like? I always get asked is that a Ridgeback or a Vizsla? Neither I say it's a redbone coonhound. Your girl is very secure girl and must be quite a bit larger now 7 months later.

My dog lays in that same position in bed all the time. I think it's characteristic behavior for them to lay like that. I take my swimming on a pontoon and he loves to jump off the boat and fetch toys. He even uses the ladder to get himself back on the boat. Too much fun!

Until they are about 1 year old...then they play hard, play hard, play hard...and then crash just to do it over again 8 hours later. A tired Vizsla is a happy Vizsla!
