  • This is so kindergarten theology... This is the most ignorant video. Yea, I'm using one bible verse, and it proves nothing, How bout when Jesus asks Peter who do you say I am? and Peter says "you are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God".....friend why was Peter crucified upside down? Because he said he was NOT WORTHY to be crucified the same as the Lord, the Son of God, Jesus Christ. And did you get your Bible~from Catholics!!! YEA, check it, or did the New Testament fall out of the sky?

  • @ReDiserio - IF YOU ARE CATHOLIC, NOT TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS, YOU ARE DOOM TO ETERNAL DEATH. I SAY THIS BECAUSE IT IS A BIBLICAL FACT. CATHOLIC PRACTICES ARE OPPOSITE TO BIBLICAL TEACHINGS.

  • @ReDiserio Indeed, Jesus is the Son of the Living God. But were you aware that everyone who is begotten of the Spirit are all sons of the Living God too? We're brothers in Christ, friend.

If Peter did not esteem himself worthy to be crucified in the same manner as the Lord Jesus, that would be down to the fact that Jesus has been placed to be the authority over all. That's what it means for Him to be our Lord. It's not at all a reference to Him being the LORD God.Refer to Acts 2:34-36

  • You don't believe that Christ is God..

However, Manalo named your church as..

    Iglesia Ni Cristo ?

    In English "Church Of Christ"

    how is that?

    Look at this passage:

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

    - 2 Peter 3:16

  • @kimpogi92 - Correction, Bro. Manalo did not name the Church of Christ. It was already named according to the bible. The name of the Church has nothing to do with Jesus nature which is human. Listen to Jesus instead John 8:40

  • @onlytruegod When you have two nouns, which are not proper names (example of proper names include: Jesus, John, Paul, Thomas, Luke, etc.), which are describing a person, and the two nouns are connected by the word "and," and the first noun has the article ("the") while the second does not, then BOTH nouns are referring to the same person.

  • @onlytruegod For instance, let us consider: "the" + noun + "and" + noun = refers to same person

One example would be structured like this: "The founder and owner of the local bank, Christopher Brown." The terms "founder," and "owner" are two nouns preceded by the article "the."

  • @onlytruegod Examples from Scripture include:

Ephesians 1:3, "HO theos KAI pater" ("THE God AND Father")

Ephesians 6:21, "HO agapetos adelphos KAI pristos diskonos" ("THE beloved brother AND faithful minister")

Hebrews 3:1, "TON apostolon KAI archierea" ("THE Apostle AND High Priest")

Revelation 16:15, "HO gregoron KAI teron" ("THE one watching AND keeping")

  • @onlytruegod Likewise, 2 Peter 1:11, says, "TOU kuriou KAI soteros iesou christou," that is, "THE Lord AND Savior Jesus Christ."

Notably, if you compare 2 Peter 1:11 with 2 Peter 1:1, the exact same construction of the sentence is used; however, instead of calling Jesus "Lord," as 2 Peter 1:11 does, 2 Peter 1:1 calls Him God:

2 Peter 1:1, tou theou (GOD) hemon kai sotaros Iesou Christou

2 Peter 1:11, tou kuriou (LORD) hemon kai sotaros Iesou Christou

  • @onlytruegod Even more notably, 2 Peter 1:1 does not call Jesus "a god," rather, "THE God AND Savior."

Likewise, Titus 2:13 also says, "TOU megalou theou KAI soteros hemon Iesou Christou," that is to say, "THE Great God AND Savior OF US, Jesus Christ." It does not render, as you would like it to say, "our Great God and our Savior."

  • @onlytruegod Please someone change this video to "Catholics laugh at this video" I'm Catholic and I think its hysterical!!! A little humility, and a lot more research you need to do....who and where did the New Testament come from? and for that matter, who is the authority you sight for your beliefs? is it your "Bible"? if it is who decided what was to be in that Bible or New testament originally---as that must be your authority--logically---yes!

  • @ReDiserio - MY PURE AUTHORITY IS GOD'S WORDS WRITTEN ALONE IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES.

  • Christ makes it know on several occasion thats he is God

  • Nowhere in the bible that says Jesus is God. All the verses are your assumptions. Whereas the bible clearly teaches that the Father is the only true God.

  • @onlytruegod , hi, if the father is the only true god, what is his name?

is it possible to address our father with any name?

  • God has several discriptive names such as Eloihim, El Shaddai, etc.

God name is truly YHWH. no more no less. Humans could not pronounce it therefore leave it alone and adddress God, how Jesus calls HIM, "Father" with atmost respect. What about you, do you call your dad by his first name?

  • John 8:58 - "Jesus said to them: Amen, amen, i say to you, before Abraham was made, i am". In the old testament, the title "I am" is the title that is given to God, Jesus uses the same word.

Colossians 1:15-17 - "he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, for in him, all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers - all things have been created through him and for him"

  • @sukka113 Yeshua was saying that YHWH existed before Abraham was made. You have to study the ancient language to realize how the phrase "i am" actually means that which is, was, and always shall be--YHWH. Yeshua was telling you about YHWH. When you see "i am" it is always in reference to the one true G-d. Period. The original root word shows the all-encompassing creator of everything.

  • Comment removed

  • @sukka113 By the same token if you or I say "I am" in English, we are claiming to exist and we are effectively acknowledging that we are created of that one all encompassing G-d that is within everything. Like any other man who loved YHWH, Yeshua would have claimed to be part of the all and the one. That doesn't make "us" gods in any way, nor does it make Yeshua a god.

  • who is the only true god? what is his name?

  • Ask Jesus- He will answer you in John 17:1-3

  • However, there is only one true God according to Jesus in Jn 17:3 and according to God himself in Isa. 43:10-11

Therefore the term "GOD" only refers to the Father. Any other god humans call is a false god. because the opposite of true is of course FALSE. BTW. WHY LOIS1914

WERE you born in 1914? 1914 is a significant year for me. 7/27/1914.

  • YHWH is the un-utterable name of the Father.

  • @Lois1914 "i am that i am" YHWH
