most foreigner and backpackers will go and stay in Tieshu byway , there'r quite lot hotels and pubs , very close to QianMen, Tian'an men square, Chairman Mao's mausoleum, hope this can help ur trip. Enjoy urself!

awesome to get a glimpse of your trip mate.. hey i saw an internet-only version of dragons den on iplayer yesterday where they invested in a great tool to teach english to both kids and as a foreign language. It was extremely clever in it's simplicity, and basically breaks words and sentences into 'word branches' and colour codes them depending on different criteria..

You should try and check it out as it looks the nuts.
