Great rendition. The songs name is actually "No Man's Land" and in the chorus the line used here "sound the death march" is often incorrectly sung especially by Irish bands. That is a line from "Streets of Loredo" whereas this song should actually be "did the rifles fire o'er ye". Mind right enough I did once hear Eric Bogle (the composer) tell an audience that he didn't greatly mind if the Irish bands got the title or lyrics wrong as long as he got his bloody royalties :-)

My father STAN was taken prisoner of war 1940 at VIMY RIDGE a ww1 memorial site he spent 5 years in stalag 8b POLAND at his funeral FEB 2006 we as requested played DAVY ARTHURS version which i like but i must say i know think this is best version trouble is i cant listen to any version without crying but it also cheers me up.
