Something happened and something was embraced that made this culture expand there. And STREET gangs (aside from Latin America) have historically been a more American phenomenon. American culture, or what they think is American, is embraced. That's why people in France embrace Obama but dont know shit about his policies.

Western societies, especially countries like the U.K., U.S., Australia, France, etc.. are the most upwardly mobile societies in the world. If you take the time to study; or just spend the time and are willing to put in the effort at work, you're almost 100% guaranteed that you'll be able to provide for your family. Look at India and the caste system; you don't have all the Indian youth running around doing this dumb shit.

@no1knowledge I think you'll find many immigrants in France were brought in by the French. Some of them were brought in to work in the factories after the war when the population dropped. After the population recovered they no longer needed the immigrant work force and pushed them out to the suburbs where there is little employment. No wonder they feel marginalized - no cash, jobs and relatively poor living conditions. Poor police treatment. These are the facts mate- not just 'benefit theives'!

Germany and many other countries are now realising that multicultualism only works if the different races integrate. Many people who come to Uk make no effort to even learn the native language and continue to live in their own ghettos as in their native lands, never wanting contact with anyone except their own kind and only wanting their children to marry from their own religion,eg forced marriage, honour killings etc !

@ml07091 Yeah true. In France there are many muslims. Even more than in the USA. (USA 0,2% and France 10%). But I dont think this is the way to solve your problems. I know many muslims who are fully integrated in the Dutch society. Some of my friends are muslim. But these are the people who dont work on their future. They only complain and blame others. Does it solve anything to fight the police? I dont think so because the French police is very tough. They are more than ready to fuck u up
