  • Just a note: Not that many people can sing colors of the wind right

  • The only time I felt anything was 3:05. Wonderful work with that wolf.

  • I remembered thiiiiiis ahhaah I went there I was like five years old....I got some pics of that ooh I miss iiiiit :'(.....

  • HOLY SHIZZ! This girl is gooooood.

  • This Christine LaFond is amazing! Kinda sick of people constantly bringing up Eden simply because they are obsessed with Wicked. This Christine girl can flat-out sing the hell out of this. Now I would like to see HER in Wicked or something never done before.

  • @MissRachel15, Pocahontas would be amazing on broadway, but I totally agree with you, it needs to be done the right way. I saw Eden Espinosa in Wicked (Idena must have been sick or something), and she was amazing. She would be interesting to hear do Pocahontas again ten plus years after this. I also think they should put in If I Never Knew You and In the Middle of the River, but I'm not sure if there really needs to be two love songs. Anyway, I've rambled on long enough.

    :)

  • Really Beautiful! I love Pocahontas.

  • I love the show! I wish i was born before 1995 so i could have seen the show but o well, that didnt happen but at least someone taped it! Thank you so much!

  • That is not Eden Espinosa; that is Christine LaFond as Pocahontas.

  • i think most have stated that already, thanks for the reminder.

  • god you're patient, after the 50th person correcting me i think id lose my rag

  • they need to do the whole movie on stage in new york in this style insted of doing mermaid

  • I agree 100% and Eden should play Pochahontas!

  • with you on that one i am a Wicked fanactic she is exalent here and she is my fave elphaba my second fav is Wicks

  • with mermaid they tryed too hard and just didnt work out. they need to do ones more like lion king costume wise that pulls the visual off and goes with the theme. like this does. the animals are done useing native american addaptions by useing real looking animal skins. and a big winer is the wolf with the moon at 3:06-3;16 just add a good wolf howl in the back round and BOOm you got Ny matirial right there.

  • I agree, this needs to be on Broadway, but it needs to be done right. I think that Pocahontas would need a lot of reworking in order for it to recieve the justice it deserves to have theatrically. I saw Lion King and it was fantastic - it'd be cool if Pocahontas was done the same way.

  • other movies i think have some stage potental is Mulan, Humchback of Notredame, Prince of Egypt, and maybe Hercules (if they do them right)

  • I don't know if you know, Mulan had a stage production in I think the Disneyland Paris park (In the US, there were parades), Hunchback had a really nice production in I think Germany (they also had shows for the theme parks and at least a small parade in Disneyland), Hercules had parades in the US but also a stage production with the Disney Cruise Lines.

  • Hunchback of Notredame was turned into a show in Germany. It's supposed to come to broadway possibly this year. And Prince of Egypt is not a Disney movie. But I could see it becoming a show. I used to love that movie when I was little.

  • well it would still be stage matirial if done right. when i said movies i ment over all not just disney an other good one if they did it like the old film with Gene Wilder is Willy Wonka

  • willy wonka has a musical play Ive seen a local theater group do it

  • This is so cool... thanks for posting this!

  • OMG That was really cool what year is this?

  • I LOVE Pocahontas wish i got the chance to see this show

  • this is why stephanie j block and eden espinosa are such good friends lol!

  • eden was good in wicked. she signed my shirt

  • mine 2 =) (my shirt that is)

  • hmmm... i think eden did this show... but especially in the "how high does the sicamore" she doesnt sound like her...

  • Bear in mind this was like a decade ago, Eden's obviously going to sound different in Wicked.

  • eden was in animazement and as far as i know.. she wasnt in this.. she didnt work there then...

  • hmmm...

  • that is eden espinoza?

    liek the one from wicked..

    the voice sounds familiar.

  • Youtubers say it is. I don't know a whole lot about Broadway, I just started an interest recently.

  • in the six months.. i did a little research...and yes i saw here live there.. and animazement.. as a painter. and NOT as pocahontas... altho she did do pocahontas.

  • Let me get this straight, you're saying Eden played Pocahontas in this show. But she played a painter in Animazement? But there's a youtube video saying their "Animazement Trio" video features Eden...

  • Yes she played Pocahontas in "The Spirit of Pocahontas" and I also saw her play a painter in Animazement and there is a youtube video with her in animazement with her featured as a painter.... but it couldve been that she also was pocahontas in animazement, because disney switched its perfomrers around a lot.

  • yes. she did this show and a bunch of others at disney before she went to stand by for wicked on broadway (original cast)

  • I think she played a fairy godmother in Disney's California Adventure's Hyperion Theater called Steps in Time.

  • this isn't eden espinosa. eden can do so much more.

  • I agree with you, it doesn't seem that this is Eden's powerful and piercing voice... hmm

  • I don't know if you're comparing this performance to WICKED, but they are both different types of musicals and maybe that's where opinions differ?? Maybe it's the audio from a VHS, to mini DV, to youtube... I really can't say. Plus this show was performed almost 12 years ago.

  • That is true. I remember the last time we went to Disneyland in California before we moved. I was 8 then and I am now 20. I tried to pick up some of the leaves they drop but after seeing it was just paper I left them there. Other people did though

  • This is almost definitely Eden. Her voice isn't as developed yet, but if you listen you can pick up on little bits that are her future singing traits.

  • I like it when it turns to dark with a big full moon, that's beautiful

  • COOl...that was nice. I love Pocahontas and the most. I was nice they made a threater version of it. Thanks for sharing. When was this? And where?

  • It's all in the description paragraph

  • Oh..okay...it was 11 years ago.

  • Eden has anice voice but I didn't like that interlude in between the chorus and the second verse.

  • she has an amazing voice

  • edens amazin voice =)
