Yes, most of the applications are compatible with win7. Mostly what runs on vista it will run on win7, and better yet, some apps, that runs on xp, but doesn't on vista, some of them runs on win7. I especially don't like win7 only for it's better than vista, but it's better than xp for me.

Build 7057 is Pre-RC, I'd be guessing that build 707x is the RC. Right now, there's no official RC yet.

Dude, if you haven't tried it, then don't say anything, it isn't officially an OS yet because it isn't completed. It's not an entirely knew OS, it's simply a major vista update (NT6.1) and finally, if you don't like it why watch?? besides this is just RC1 proof vid, the tlink in the desc. actually shows it.

How would you know? I've already been testing it since alpha stage, I think it sucks, hardly any improvement over Vista.

I know it says Release Candidate 1 in the EULA, just because they updated it does not necessarily mean it is the final RC1. It is probably an RC build, just not the final RC1.

I never said it was final. It starts off as RC1, then if something (ie-bugs) are found, they correct them all, RC2 appears, or something like that. I assure you this IS RC1, and that there will be an RC2 as i've found a few bugs myself

I understand what you are saying, but what I meant was, that this is probably not the version that will be announced by microsoft as RC1, since you, and many others have found some bugs. Anyway, how are you finding this latest build? Faster than 7048, 7000?

Yes your right, there will be more lol And it, contradictary to many comments, is running as fast (if not faster) and smoother than 7000 and 7048. I mean other than a few very minor bugs that i've found (upside down WMP Preview being one) which is quite funny, i have no problems with it.
