Ah this is what I remember most some bloke was like ah mate I've done fuck loads of drugs this weekend and he was like what? Oh cool good for you kinda thing n he was still going on so he was like yeah can you shut up now we've I've got something to get on with up here lol god that was a good weekend
this one... is for anyone... who at this weekend... has experimented with drugs for the first tiiiiime!!! ...he must have scared the shit out of them!...hahaha...smart call!
@WhiteDragonEyesBlue yeah rolling stone magazine did like a 100 greatest guitar players of all time. johnny and ed tied for a spot it was funny. i dont remember what spot though.
dagurru i think his voice can be here and there i wouldnt say it was shit tho and i think it is all in the personality of radiohead and it works on high levels i was at this gig and it was 100 % amazing no cries atall! but i think aswell recordings dont forget are manufactured to be perfect but you only get one take to get this right and i have to say i prefer his naturall sound on stage but thats just my voice.
i'm sorry but i find thom yorke's singing to be mockery in these videos from reading. i love their songs but thom had better let the audience sing the songs because he was shit. maybe you didn't feel that, from the festival-goer point of view.
@dagurru have you watched the haiti relief concert where thom does fake plastic tree's? I much prefer his voice now then back in 1995, where it was a bit too bland and pretty. Maybe his voice is a bit to rough, but you certainly don't recognise it when your watching this show live.
i'll watch it, thanks. i don't know, i think i am too much used to the recordings and i expect live renditions to be the same. and the audience thing was a joke, surely no band will ever let the crowd sing-along a whole song.
Are you a complete moron or have you just never seen or been to a concert?
Every band lets you sing along to any of their songs, it's part of the Concert, why pays $100 to go see a bunch of guys play music when you can't do anything, when effectivley you can do that at home with a CD that cost you $30?
@TheSpiritOfJazz2 I meant that the band wouldn't let the audience ONLY to sing a song. Get it? Like Thom to stop singing and letting the audience instead. I've been to plenty of concerts including Nine Inch Nails where on Hurt you can't even hear Trent sing anymore, but he never stops singing just to let the audience. That's what I was talking about. And easy on the insults, because I only expressed my point of view and didn't offend anyone. I just don't like the way Thom sings here.
If a guitarist is having a solo, normally the camera goes to the one soloing. It's common courtesy, I mean, during an insane solo do you film the guitarist playing the solo or do you film Thom who is strumming the acoustic?
@douglasrandall1 I agree. I certainly wasn't a fan of Radiohead before watching them, but they're easily one of my favourite bands now, they were phenomenal.
best live performace of a track ive ever experienced, 'rain down' was surreal. they really made my weekend, its a shame the bbc will probably delete this video soon.

Haha, Colin looks so happy throughout this entire set.
S'pose I'd be a bit pleased if I was in Radiohead, mind.
FidoDido1980 2 years ago
Whoever edited this didn't know who was playing the solo haha, kinda common though for radiohead's filmers
Colourbend 2 years ago
@Colourbend that doesnt make sense. who says it has to film the solo?
