i went to see it at the cinema as a ghostbuster and i participated

in the action and afterwards i went to leeds uk version of the ny public

library scanning for class fives i may did not pick up any class fives

but the was a spectral pressence in the lion statues my pke metre

went through the roof and top of the scale and i was a ghostbuster

again for the citys christmas switch on show and i was a hit with tourists

and an oriental couple took my photograph as a souvenire of course.

It was a treat for me to see Ghostbusters on the big screen. Totally worth the money, even though I have owned the DVD for years and the VHS tapes (which got eaten by the VCR so many times) before that.

I was only 3 when it was released so for me to see this on the big screen was a dream come true.

I saw Ghostbusters on the big screen when it first came out, it was awesome! I will definitely see it on the big screen again. I even owned a Ghostbuters T shirt. The Eiighties were so cool!

I was there in the cinema twice when it was originally released. This is what big screen releases were all about back in the day. I'll be the first in line to go and see it. You can keep Ferngully: The Last Rainforest in 3D... ummm .... Avatar - You can watch GB on DVD and Blu-Ray - but you'll never beat it on the big screen!!!!

@grneyedsyren For the only reason any person could possibly want to... For the experience, seeing it on a screen you'd never have in your house with a sound quality system the average person is unlikely to afford. Why do you watch any film in a cinema then? All films would be cheaper on DVD.

I'm 100% in favor of classics being re-released in theaters as long as they're not in 3D. The idea of seeing classic movies like Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Indiana Jones etc on the big screen (since I never got the chance too) is amazing.

You got to love Hollywood, they made Lion King in 3D, they make Titanic in 3D, they made Human Centipede 2, they make a movie for Smurfs, they make all the fairytales in movies (Snowhite etc.), they make bad remakes, they make Spy Kids in 4D cauze 3D is too old!!!!
