I'm a good Tenant but I have dealt with bad landlords here in Ontario! I have even went to the point of studying the Land lord's and Tenants act just to see what I can circumvent to my own benefit! The land lord and tenants act of Ontario is more for the Land Lord than the tenant. It is ridiculous that tenants here in Ontario will eventually have to seek how they can bend the act to them! It's very easy to do and all it takes is studying the act and figuring out how to bend it!

They say 1 out of 6 regular tenants is good; however, 1 out of 20 section 8 tenants is good. Even though you get guaranteed rent, they are so picky about the condition of your unit and the amount they are willing to pay. It not worth it to pursue section 8 tenants. I rent exclusively to regular tenants and I only advertise on the internet so I get mostly good educated tenants.

Believe me, I learned my lesson about section 8 tenants. I hope that this is my one and only section 8 tenant. I do not need to be told twice!!!

My former tenant, Ms. B, did not work; she lived off the US government. I am not against welfare; I believe that it is an appropriate safety net for people for a time. This woman, Ms. B, made it a career of staying on welfare, and thus, abused the system! If that makes me, the Gerald Ford, as you say, then so be it.
