  • How about Vee Jay records, they were the 1st American label to sign a contract with the Fab Four.

  • horlicks it would have happened anyway the cream always rises to the top

  • Thanks for this tribute. Brian died so early, most of today's fans don't know just how key he was in getting the Beatles into a "presentable" condition and pushing for that first record contract. George Martin and Geoff Emerick didn't write the songs, but they helped shape them into the wonderful music that will endure for generations to come.

  • if it weren't for Linda,Paul wouldn't have been able to get through the last months with the Beatles. She derserves MUCH credit! However, it's great to see Epstein,Martin, and Evans-people who were in the studio INCLUDED.

  • Great tribute with long deserving accolades to those people. To me, the 5th Beatle was George Martin and the 6th was Geoff Emerick.

Now, how about a Tribute To Beatles Villains starring...

Yoko Ono - Allen Klein - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - "Magic Alex" Mardas - and EMI Executives.

Just kidding! I know those people really weren't bad. But they seem to be viewed in that light from Beatles fans and books.

  • Dear Brian, love you so much!

  • cool video. i was glad to see the girls.

  • Well, Yoko didn't appear in the picture until 1966 - halfway into The Beatles' lifespan. So even if she didn't contribute to the decline of the band, she wasn't instrumental in their rise. Which are the people this video seeks to honor. So either way, it makes sense not to include her here. If the band had survived the 60s into the 70s, then naturally the story might be otherwise - assuming that she would have contributed to their continued existence after Brian.

  • What about Ed Sullivan? Still Great Video.

  • "I Want to Hold Your Hand" was already popular is the U.S. before Sullivan put them on his show. Remember, I only put the key people.

  • hm, what about people like Eric Clapton who helped out with instruments?

  • @alextheawsome

Well,Ed Sullivan did`nt help the Beatles when they were working hard in Hamburg in 1960-1962.

He booked them on his show when they went numer one in the States with "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"1964.

when it was safe, and they were allreday succesful.

the people in this video (cleverly done) helped The Beatles from day one.

    All the best

    Chimbo

    Four stars.

  • Hmm. I never realized that even the beatles needed a little help from their friends to be successful!

  • of course! without brian and alistair, they would've never been discovered they way they were!

  • Kool!!!

  • Very Nice!! Love it!<33

  • Great!! But you forgot Tony Barrow, their press officer 1962-1968 (:

  • he just didn't show up that much in books i've read...I know he was important but I purposely left him and some others out

  • great tribute, ive gotta share this man its so true, even though there were times they got in the way i believe
