Hey I was wondering if you could help me out with C4D, See I made an intro on it and then I don't know where to go from there to post it onto youtube.. I tried rendering it in alot of different formats and uploading it but it just said File Format Failed. I've been trying to figure this out for a couple weeks now and i've asked alot of people. Maybe you can help?

@KaoticPR3D firstly you need to render your movie - hopefully you know how to do that. Then export as a quicktime for web and upload to youtube.

To all concerned, my assumption is that the the reason the software is called cinema 4d is due to the fact that you can have up to 4 window panes displayed when working within the program - top view, left side view, right side view and bottom view .

@almklit I would say it's more about it being animation/modelling not just a modeller. E.g. you have the 3 basic dimensions for modelling... x,y,z... then you also have the fourth dimension - Time... hence 4D. Modelling in 3 dimension and animation in the 4th

It's a very complex process, and you will have to refer to the manuals for that. I made movies within Cinema 4d and then put them together in I-Movie a mac ox programme. There are several ways to approach this. In Cinema 4d there are options to choose Pal and etc.

To render, it took about an hour for this quicktime movie, bigger quicktime movies take proportionately longer. This was done on Mac OX

Dunno what ya mean! Software is called Cinema 4d but it's only a 3d program beats me why they called it that - could be something to do with time and relative dimensions in space or string theory or the one unifying theory that combines the very large and the very small sub atomic particles such as Quark strangeness or charm.

nah, 4d I believe has more to do with the 4th dimension in Art which is depth. A depth Art is a more accurate one than a simple 3d.

No. I saw Spongebob in 4D today it was mint. I think it has something to do with the lighting because my friend nicked some of the glasses from the movie to see if it worked on the computer but it doesn't. Shame.
