It's hard to be sarcastic with things that ridicule themselves, but yes it was....Maybe you should have a charred human puppet and can illustrate to children how they are going to hell if they don't listen to you...I know that's not what your trying to do, but that's the message your giving them!

Everyone is already on the way to hell, But that's not Gods will, so He made a way to have abundant life here and go to Heaven, HE paid the price for our separation from Him and His goodness, by excepting the sacrifice of Jesus going to hell in our place anyone can go to Heaven. It's not earned but a gift.

Great, then maybe you should incorporate that in your act. Instead of a monkey you should depict an atheist child burning in the fires of hell, and you could explain to children that God only allows such punishments because he loves them so much....If you want to believe this stultifying stupidity, then that's your call. If you told this stuff to my children, I would stuff your monkey in a place even God would have trouble removing it.

Well it is my view that telling children they are going to hell is child abuse...Even if you dress it up as a comedy monkey. There is no such thing as a religious child. Only adults conditioning kids with their own beliefs. Children need guiding, not brainwashing or terrified into doing what they're told. We have innate morality that needs to be allowed to flourish...To tell children the contradicting morals of a hateful God, is in my view...Pure evil!

Well the entire Old Testament to start with, but the idea that you are given free will, but will suffer an eternity of pain if you use that free will is a bizarre concept. If I had a choice of this punishment or never being born, of course I would take that. Love is unconditional, not part of a contract...The Christian love of God is like the love of an abused wife loving her abuser and making excuses for him...

God gave us free will because He did not want robots.. He wanted us to love Him because we wanted to not because we were suppose to. Love is unconditional, look at it this way. If a righteous God were to hold to himself a evil person just the goodness of God would destroy that evil and the person would die. So in order to love on His evil children He made a way to get close to them by being their sacrifice so now He can love them through the cleansing blood of Jesus.

God does interact with His kids, That is the whole reason He send Jesus to die for us, SO He could have a relationship with us. Religion makes demands on us.Religion is mans way of earning Gods favor by doing right things. God has one law. The old testament law was fulfilled in Jesus. Now we have one law... LOVE.
