Never saw Don Bluth before, wow. It always seemed to me, after reading the book, that the rat's place under the rose bush seemed TOO futuristic and stuff. But I guess that was the point, it was a great movie that I'd recommend to anyone. Read the book too, it rocks!

It was in the book, But Don Bluth was somehow worried about copyright with the Frisbee toy, so Frisby was changed to Brisby for the movie.

I think they actually planned to keep it Frisby but did get into copyright trouble with Frisbee...they already had most of the animation and some voice acting done but it was easy to replace Frisby with Brisby because the lip movements look the same
