He has a wonderful outlook on life and is the definition of a hardworker.

For these reasons, he is my favorite anime character.

Watching him has motivated me to stop being such a procrastinator and to work hard for what I want.

Rock Lee is the least gifted, without exception. But he is one of the 3 most powerful, and that is because he worked his ass off. A "gift" and hard work are not the same. Though I suppose you could argue that him even meeting Might Guy was a gift from God (And no, I don't mean Kakashi.)

Actually, the vast majority of Gaara's chakra came from Shukaku. And remember, the "armor of the sand" the ONLY reason why he could withstand lee's punches, took HUGE amounts of chakra- his brother stated that in episode 50 or 51, I forget which. Hence, Gaara can't maintain armor of the sand now, and lee would *totally* pound the crap out of him with his 5th gate technique. The thing to remember is that Gaara's only real weakness was that his techniques hogged a lot of chakra, and lost most.
