Originale Idee! Das einzige, was ich nicht glaube, ist die Fichte. Obwohl ich schon mit Erfolg mit solchen 'ungeeigneten' Hölzern gearbeitet habe wie Buche und Eiche wenn die trocken genug sind, Bei Fichte habe ich nie etwas bekommen.. Diese Position muss ich ausprobieren!

have you ever tried making a fire? And have you ever tried filming it, so that one can see in detail what is going on? I´ve done both for countless times. I never got it with one shot. I´ve only one camera. As a good observer you should also notice that the camera position has changed. That´s for better filming. There are enough people who know that. So if you have doubts, try it on your own, or go on doubting.

I never doubted the concept. I 've made many fires and have done something very similar to this process. I've never had to do a retake unless I failed to get a coal. In which case, I completely refilmed the scene Your camera angle was fine. If you did manage to get a coal on that second shot, why didn't you film the entire process leading to that? It is just a very poor place to have an edit. Forming the ember is the most critical part and you completely skipped over it. I don't understand.

Wirkt irgendwie einfacher als das klassische Feuerbohren. Vor allem, wenn man einen dicken Bauch hat, der einem beim Hinknien ganz schön hinderlich sein kann.
