From back in the day when real musicians existed, musicians that could play their instruments as good as any classically trained violinist or pianist, musicians that could compose melodies and rock that would compete with legendary composers for longevity, Musicians that didn't need or rely on backing tapes to play along to because someone else played on the album.

Music has sucked big time donkey balls since the 90's.

These guys are musical twins already, if you know what I mean. They could play the same solo for hours, and would never get out of sync.

I often thought about this phenomenon and came to the conclusion that Jabs on stage had more an appeal of a team player than his predecessor Uli Roth had although Jabs did 90% of the solos in contrast to R. Schenker. Many European bands had those guitar teams (Maiden, Priest, Leppard, Saxon, Accept, Krokus) while most US acts had those outstanding single shredder kings (EVH, Lynch, Sambora, Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, Vai etc.).

JABS..one of the most underrated lead players. Y'know..people love George Lynch etc, but it's odd how JABs doesn't get the same recognition. Lynch and Jabs at times are very similar players. There again, Lynch sadly hasn't had the success of Jabs...who knows. Great players.

This is proof of why the guitar mags in the 80's noted Matthias Jabs as one of only 3 to be the top guitarists in the States, He created his own style and his own bending, etc and who put Scorps on the rock map when they hit the States. They will be sorely missed and the rock world won't be the same when they are gone.

@aydooknow , then you don't have a good bridge or you have worn saddles.... I never break a string the first few times doing overbends

Epic atmosphere when Mathias plays the No one like you riff, if you mix it with the powerful Rudolph´s Fliying V sound and Meine´s voice, you´ll obtain the best rock ballad you probably have ever heard ;) The World Wide Live version is specially epic, and sure better than the studio one.
