I test rode one today because you said it handles like a 600. That is not true! It handles very well but feels like what it is, a heavy 600 pound motorcycle. Nevertheless, I think I'll buy one anyway, the DCT works so well!
good sound quality and video.....did that feel like a true sport bike or maybe a sport touring? It is a gorgeous bike and is on my hit list to buy! I can not wait to ride one myself
Simply an outstanding piece of commentary. It's nice to hear genuine feelings about a machine without ego getting in the way. I'm in the US, so unfortunately ego is far too often a part of any vlog/review.
Again, stellar job. I concur with the previous post - if you could find a job doing these reviews, you should seriously consider doing it.
Good video.. would be good to read how comfy seat was after 300 miles + and how the bike copes ( no doubt great..as a Honda fan ..lol ) on some long rides, different kinds of roads etc
@TheMightyBlighty I don't have nearly the mechanical knowledge to review anything with cogs and sprockets! Which is probably why this is limtied to "Oooh, it goes fast and looks pretty, want!"
nice paint-not one blemish. unbelieveable top clearcoat nice seat. i like to ride. i hit the horn button when i meant to hit the turnsignal. the brakes work. goofy review.
@ujayboydog unfortunately, this was just a test ride with my opinion of how the bike felt at the time - at no point in time did I ever say it was a review. :)
Great video and review! I'd rather see this kind of review...from regular people since what I care about is typically what is discussed. Now you just need to snag a demo of a new Multistrada ;)
decent looking bike. however i bet is amazing to ride. out of all the hyper bikes this is my fav. it sure as hell can beat a busa in the corners and hold its ground on the strip
@Zeocen well I think they should have just made a new Bird maybe given it 1400cc after all if it looks right it probably is. Only a few major mods in 11Years meant that HONDA hit the nail on the head with the Bird - although some so called proper bikers didn't like the linked brakes!.
With some of the newer bikes with their power mode switches I don't see the point - for years the main control of power on bikes has been the throttle :-)
Having had a bird myself, it's significantly better in almost all aspects apart from the small capacity tank. But, I don't know if the price difference between the Bird and the VFR1200 warrants the upgrade - it's quite a steep price jump.
I went for a look at one last weekend and said the exact same as you about the paint. The finish and quality just seemed amazing. Would have liked to have taken one for a ride but there was a waiting list haha.
You changed your mind pretty quickly. Looks like a good bike to me. Just looks a little bit plain, that's all. Cant wait for people to start making aftermarket exhausts for it!
@HAIONSTRESS me too! It sounds like a true and honest review about the experience driving the bike and not how technical the bike is. Ultimately..riding experience is the reason why you ride a bike! :D
You lucky S.O.B.! I assume the dealership just let you take it out for a test ride for shits and giggles. That's some pretty remarkable trust right there, man.
@ElitePower I have good trust with my dealerships. I trust my life with them when they work on my bikes and they trust me with their sexy bikes. This particular bike dealership has been very kind to me, they always give me the keys to tasty vehicles! Great bunch of guys too.
Lmao who the hell put the horn there and why? Awesome review dude, bike sounds so nice when you start moving from first, dude you're good, you made me want one of them!
@hughes111 I really think the placement of the horn is appropriate, being able to use the indicator so down low means I don't have to move my hand anywhere, only my thumb. It's pretty good!
Really? I would've thought it to be a hassel as i'm used to the indicators been the other way around, i'll take your word for it though mate as i've never ridden a bike with that system and you have lol!
i sat on one saturday, never got to ride it though so thanks for this, i still struggle with the looks, i don't know what it is maybe the tank maybe the wheels maybe the exhaust maybe all of that
o SHIT i did it again :D:D:D

It's a shame your stuck in the city with all that traffic and slow drivers and not out here in the country where you can let rip.

Great video! Honda should've paid you for it. It's hard to believe it feels like a 600 though. It's close to 600lbs isn't it?
