ive got a question, sometimes i get .wbfs FILES which are basically the same as iso's but WAY smaller. not even a Gigabyte! and they work perfectly!! ive heard they dont upload them a lot in the .wbfs format because its wii-only and emulators cant run it...im not talking about scrubbed or trimmed iso's. thsose are still 3-4 gigs. can soleone tzll me how i can compress an iso to a Wbfs file please,

I have a PAL Wii with firmware version 4.2E and i have configurable usb loader updated and still i have ocasional hangings and freezes on all games :(

i use a iomega select portable harddrive 500gb with a primary fat32 partition where my games are,and a logical ntfs partition.

@bu11monkey You're stupid, my portable HDD is FAT32, and my games are converted into .wbfs files mainly because doing that with Wii Backup Manager automatically strips them of the dummy data.

Also, I'm using CFG USB Loader.. You could set the partition to WBFS filesystem, but then it would be more annoying to transfer games to the HDD. It's a lot more simple to use FAT32 because you can place more than just games on it then; such as video files for a media player program.

@dontnou3 The filesystem shouldn't be an issue, it could be that your HDD is just simple dying on you, the USB port on the Wii could be iffy, or you could just have some instability with your IOS files, which you should probably update using ModMii.

I use FAT32 without any issues on my Wii.

The USb loader is officially only to mount YOUR games, that you own off a HDD.

I just wanted to say, that its not so legal to load games from the web, but sure its possible.

You just need "WBFSManager" to format a HDD into Wii format and copy games on it.

Need alittle help please, I downloaded everything perfectly. when I try to load a game it goes to a black screen and says mode not supported but I can hear the game playing in the background, when I hook up the yellow white and red cables I can see the picture but its scrambley and black and white. @frankytap metroid prime trilogy only works partly with usbloading... you can play all 3 games with the alt dol trick that you can choose in the usbloader but youll never be able to choose the difficulty for instance.

Need some help with usb loaders. . .when I add some games on and play them they work fine but after I added ore games on and some of the games I put on the hard drive before don't load, it just freezes and or just a black screen as soon as i click load game, Any advice on how to fix this problem?

@DASHANE19 i've had issues with slower hard drives. One game i had the biggest and most noticeable issue with was "new super mario brothers". It was streaming music from the drive and the drive couldn't keep up. I have a universal hard drive adapter that takes ide or sata, and the sata drives just couldn't keep up.

if you are in america you need to get the ntsc version of the game for most games. don't get the pal version if you can help it

actually i found a copy of res evil 4 that worked, it was PAL. i found more PAL games were working than NTSC, but its always a gamble. yea i hate corrupt files! fucking annoying!
