Tonight I drove my uncles black 2008 range rover sport supercharged and i felt veryyyy uncomfortable driving, BECAUSE it is SOOO powerful, i stepped on the gas like i would normally do and i FLEW back in my seat, it is like driving a sports car it was crazy, same with the breaks, they stop the vehicle SOO fast that it was hard to drivel. @MAGICKUWAIT I just went on a test drive with one, on their mini-off road coarse, and on the road. They are surprisingly fast. Faster than you would ever think. They also rock crawl really well. They are not really reliable like a Japanese, but the horror stories are over rated.

If you are into off-road, buy a Discovery III or IV. It has larger windows, carries more gear, and is built on the same platform as the Range Rover Sport. I don't know anyone who takes their Range Rover Sport off-road.
I am on my third Land Rover and find them to be reliable, its the dealers that make ownership a trial. The warranty doesn't pay the mechanics enough, so they do their best to avoid having to fix anything.

A Q7 is more like an luxury SUV. Where as the 911 is more sports and built for speed. Based on technology Q7 is much better than the 911, but where speed is concerned 911 is faster. So I don't think that the 911 is a good comparison to the Q7.
Finally a good review, the ranger rover is pretty much a waste of money. Overpriced, unreliable and not as good as a x5 or cayenne. Period. And the vogue is overpriced.
As for me, I did drive one of those... It's slow as hell ! however I do agree that it's a good lookin car, but still I'm Cayenne fan, plus check out any professional review and you'll have no questions after - what car is best
I drove a Range Rover Sport for six weeks as a company car and I must say that I wasn't impressed. It was slow.
I have always wanted a Cayenne and planned to get one this year...until my attention was grabbed by the Audi Q7...One sexy, fast, strong beautiful monster! I've had my Q7 for 6 weeks and I'm not letting her go! My life has changed. The Range Rover's bodywork (and interior) seemed flimsy and cheap. Now that I have the Q7, the RangeRover's lacklustre seems all the more apparent.

As for me, I did drive one of those... It's slow as hell ! however I do agree that it's a good lookin car, but still I'm Cayenne fan, plus check out any professional review and you'll have no questions after - what car is best

I drove a Range Rover Sport for six weeks as a company car and I must say that I wasn't impressed. It was slow.
I have always wanted a Cayenne and planned to get one this year...until my attention was grabbed by the Audi Q7...One sexy, fast, strong beautiful monster! I've had my Q7 for 6 weeks and I'm not letting her go! My life has changed. The Range Rover's bodywork (and interior) seemed flimsy and cheap. Now that I have the Q7, the RangeRover's lacklustre seems all the more apparent.
