  • ......

    It's all about Sodium Polyacrylate.

  • wat ???

  • really?

  • lo sabia!!!! ^^ tenia algo ^^

  • its insatnt snow

  • listen to the fuckin kid..and tuirn the shit out dad...you boring bastard....the shit is done.

    Nob!

    lol

  • haha

  • thats that snow making thing right?

  • Yep. It's the thing with the thing.... That makes that stuff out of that stuff... Yeah.

  • you are so fucked up realy. you keep calling this instant snow wich might kill you if you eat it cake. its not food wtf

  • its instant snow

  • Actually, I don't remember the name of this product, not off the top of my head anyway, but this is not the stuff that comes out of diapers. It's this fake snow, where you mix water with the product and it grows into fluffy "snow." It even gets cold, too. I used to work in a kiosk in a mall and they sold this stuff in the kiosk next to me.

  • Dude, mostly correct! It's not exact but very, very similar to diaper sodium polyacrylate. The only difference is the degree of cross-linking between two different polyacrylates. The difference you would see is the diaper polyacrylate would turn into more of a gel-like gooey material than the snowy material you see here. The diaper material will also absorb alot more water and each particle will grow larger.

  • where do you get this stuff i never seen one b4

  • what's this white you made???snoW?

  • @c0kement0s its insta snow

  • its called Insta-snow

  • that was awesome

    loved it

  • its called aqua gel but ive never seen it do that i thought it just turned into a gel not a powder but they may have used a bunch

  • lax. There are several types of sodium polyacrylates with different degrees of cross-linking that alter the rate and size of the swelled particle. If it holds more water its more likely to look like a gel (water-lok). Also, there are sodium polyacrylamides that do similar but slightly different things (soil moist). I'm not sure if this one is more or less cross-linked. I would guess less, as I'd suspect more cross-linking to form a network to hold more water and form more gel-like materials.

  • omgg..lolol techincaly, u have to rip open a diaper for this? lmao!!!

  • no you can buy this in large quantities from numerous sites online...the stuff has to be chemically synthesized before being dispersed into a diaper.

  • tht waz cool

  • thank you!

  • cool ...

  • what is that its awesome

  • That my friend is quite simply the same stuff used in disposable diapers to absorb urine. In order to absorb the fluid it has to expand somewhat which provides that overflowing effect. You can also see that its quite fast and efficient (to prevent leaky diapers). There are more cool demonstrations using this material that I'll post later.
