this scene is so painful yet so beautiful. you can actually see their love for george like laughing was their way of dealing with the pain of losing him. it was always about the five of them; meredith, christina, alex, izzie and george and the thought that one of them was dead almost felt unreal.

they loved him. even alex. they loved each other and in their own way, they all have built a beautiful friendship that no one else can understand.
