i seem to have the same issue, i can play pinch harmonics but not in mid song, seems to be placement of pick because i cant pick same way i play pinch harmonics if u catchin my drift..

just kinda roll ur thumb up the pick closer to the tip. my teacher told me that pinch harmonics are just one downward movement; dont pick curving ur hand to put ur thumb closer to the string. i followed this and im im pretty good at playing them in songs. i hope it helps

the pedals Linde uses for distortion are mostly fuzz pedals. He has two Laney VH100R Heads connected. One is just going straight and the other is on effects. A pedal he sais is ALWAYS on is a Fulltone Octafuzz. He also said he uses even more fuzz pedals connected. i Know he used a Zvex Fuzz Factory. Ask if you have any questions i'd be glad to help ;)

i'm not really that shure, i think that you need just the two heads and an octafuzz and that's not a cheap sport. if you like Daniel Lioneye or....let's say linde's soloing sound from the time of razorblade and deep shadows, get an octafuzz. i have it and i'm really happy with it ^^
