@Nocturnal01 Possibly from watching the Japanese channel, NHK World. That's how I first saw a clip of this doll. I think it may have been featured on the show, "Cool Japan". I don't remember now. -_-
@AlaskanSky A robot is an automaton with the use of electronics. That is the popular usage, its definition is much broader. Most robots today are pre-programmed and AI is still at its initial stages. An industrial arm used to operate lasers for cutting through metal would be considered a robot, yet it does not possess the capability to think on its own. This automaton is similarly pre-programmed,but not with the use of electronics or software. So as it is pre-programmed to write it is a robot.Artistic!
Korean is insisting that all Japannese culture such as KENDO, JUDO, AIKIDO, SUMO, SAMURAI, NINJA, KATANA, UKIYOE, SADO, KABUKI, NOH, HAIKU and SUSHI etc are korean.
Korean is insisting that famous Japannese historical figures such as MUSASHI, LADY MURASAKI, HOKUSAI, HIROSHIGE UNKEI and ZEAMI etc are korean.
The cause is in the school training that Korean people receives wrong infomation that "The Japanese is always barbarous and uncivilized".
Does anyone know where I can find live streams of these types of shows and or torrents that are up to date?

カラクリとしてはもちろん飾っておくだけでも美しいですね。
幕末に国外へいったものを探し出したのも凄いし部品の欠落があったとはいえ保存してたアメリカの人も凄いし粘り強く交渉して修復したのも凄い。

The title is a bit misleading. It should say "mechanical doll", not robot.

Androids such as these are more of a French art dating from the late 1700s, but a very fine example none the less!

japanese only needs wood to make an automaton
the americans needs 3 engeniers, a lot of money, 5 computers and they finally make a big and heavy robot
khoraza 4 years ago 6
That's a very biased way of saying that. How much money do you think went into this, as well as the number of people who worked on it?
