@210482fmj The speed of the hanglider....along with with needs (food, water, etc.) makes it impossible.Also, you'd need to jump from the highest altitude possible to remain in the air for that long.

do gliders become harder to physically control the faster you fly them. do aeilerons require higher speed to become more effective in a hang glider than moving the entire vehicle with youre weight. which is most efficent at low speeds. im assuming moving the entire wing is more efficient in hang gliders.

Fake? Ha! To fake this, you'd need a more-than-180° bluescreen, with the glider rig, fans, and lighting all programmed to follow the pilot movement. This isn't The Matrix, it's a 4-minute YouTube video. If it was fake, the producer would've insisted upon matte-finish helmets, to avoid the unnecessary time/cost of fixing the reflections in post.

This was filmed at two sites. Both are rated as H3 or higher, mostly because they are both in State Parks, fairly long glides out to an LZ, and landing fields require setting up good approaches.

Please post all of the video from the nose-mounted camera on the rigid wing!! I'm sure other weight-shift pilots are curious about the pilot input needed to fly that type of glider.
