From what I can see they are awesome - especially the guy. He would've made a name for himself because of the incident. But I still feel it's unfair to other competitors. Wearing inappropriate footwear shouldn't be exempted, no matter what the circumstance is - plus he only danced half of the song (without lots of heel steps). Is this a special treatment in an IDSF event?
@xyf888 the circustances can excuse the sportsmann because think if his heel would have broke during the dance it would be the same thing as beeing late at the cha cha and coming wearing other shoes
@KellyKelly55 Sorry I can't understand what you're trying to say here. But special circumstances should not over-rule the rules. I know he is an aspiring younger dancer - but it sends out the wrong messages to young dancers if they start receiving special treatment from when they are young.
How can someone get 4th with 1 dance withdrawn and theoretically disqualified for another because of inappropriate footwear? So they won fourth with only doing 3 dances? How is that possible?

What happened in the beginning? I see a young lady waiting for her partner, he does not show. Then their is a young man dancing in non-regulation shoes. Someone please explain.
