Just like JR Rotem said that you dont have to learn how play any instruments but learning you to use and utilize it. But in Reality if you know how to play keys, then you can do so much more than the producers that only sample. You can expand and do more styles and any genre if you know the scales and theory behind the music. I'm a keyboardist myself.

Yea the runners and Drumma Boy are crazy talented (some of my favorites) but the difference between J.R and them is his diversity in the music biz. He doesn't limit his production skills to one genre of music, i salute him for that. I'm an up and coming producer myself and if it were any producer to take me under their wing i would have to pick JR just for the diverse style of music he stretches his talent unto. I think Timbaland is highly overrated. If you listen to the music he has put in the last year its easy to tell that Danjahandz really made Timbaland's sound with that all those new wave synths.
