  • recently picked up an '08 considering this exhaust with 1 7/8 longtubes. I ran Corsa Sport on my GTO and loved it! I like that this sounds quite a bit louder than the Sport system. The tips look beautiful.

  • @corvettels9 look it up if you dont believe me. how do you think they tested this engine for reliability and longevity when they engineered it ? its called a torture test. and how they keep it from running out of gas is probably pretty simple...idk why its confusing you, they probably could just you know...put more gas in it o.O

  • yes I agree with you, but who's to say it wasn't warmed up already been running before the video? Not saying this is the case but really IDK. And yes before you take your engine over 4,000rpm you should always let it warm up

  • @pBBeN even if it was cold it still needs to build oil pressure. a WOT rev immediately after starting is not good for an engine, whether it's cold or warm.

    I just saw that this 05 vette used costs about $28,000, its a V8 400 hp, and it has great Gas Mileage!! 18/28 for a V8 nice!

  • No. You do not need a vette at 18. You will kill yourself. Yes its the best car out there for the money but you cant handle it at 18 given that you are probably currently driving an explorer or something.

  • No, I don't even know the kid. I know how kids are though most of the time, full throttle or nothing, but some are mature. Corvettes aren't any tougher to handle than a Toyota Prius if you drive responsibly, don't fuck around in traffic, and keep the burnouts restricted to parking lots. I doubt he'll have a ZO6 or any Vette with some power though.

  • If you're easy on the throttle, not messing around all the time, there is no difference between 1,000 horsepower, or 80. I'd like to see you attempt to prove me wrong in any way. Please explain to me how a Corvette would be so much harder to handle. Sadly, you can't.

  • You want to get owned again. Here we go... there is no possible way to be easy on the throttle 100% of the time. Cars have power to do things such as merge into traffic. Quarter throttle in both cars yields worlds of difference power.

    Ever heard of torque. Wheels light up and someone who is not use to it or was not expecting it WILL lose control of the car.

    Ever let the clutch out easy on a 1000hp car... thats cause you essentially cant. It takes a fuck ton of skill and finesse to do so...

  • Get owned again? You obviously don't even know how to use a clutch. I have a couple friends, they're brothers that own a tuning shop mainly doing forced induction projects. I've had to privelage to drive a BMW that was somewhere near 1,000 horsepower, maybe 800-900, who knows, but with that kind of power for street driving, you can let the clutch out at idle..

  • I drive my Camaro every day and stay under 3,000 RPM, until the weekend when I'm messing around on some back roads. The point is, when you're easy on gas, a monsterous Corvette capable of 1,000 horsepower can be just as docile is a Prius hyrbid, there is no real challenge to driving it. Oh yeah, and if this is common "since", why can't you even spell common sense?

  • Hey dimwit, did you ever realize 1,000 horsepower Corvettes, especially turbo Vettes, aren't always making that full 1,000 horsepower. You can cruise around town in cars like that in low RPM ranges making less than 200 horsepower if the turbo isn't spinning above 50,000 rpm's.

I actually have driven an LS7.. Not super fast or maxing it out, test drove an '06.. You obviously didn't know these things, that's why you're trying to insult me on the fact that I said a Corvette capable of 1,000 horsepower is docile. With turbos they typically make less than stock horsepower at low RPM's.

I've driven and raced all kinds of cars, with V8's like the 327 from the 60's, all the way to LS7's. If you did ANYTHING involving a car besides argue your non factual point on Youtube, you'd know. Go hop in a Hennessey TT Viper and see how docile cars like that actually are in lower RPM's. Then you'll have a clue, kiddo.

  • Ha, running a bit rich aren't ya? Pretty awesome sound though. Those Corsas are sweet cuz they're barely audible while cruising but really roar at full throttle.

  • Lower your pass side tip so they are level. Push up on muffler while over axel pipe is lose as well. Have someone hold it for you as you tighten it down. Nice system!
