Tom, dude, your are one of my favorite players right now. there was Hendrix, Van Halen, Yngwie, (Skip everone else for the moment) then there was Greg Howe. Now it seems and Rick Graham; Guthrie; Marshall Harrison and other special players like Marrious who are expanding the vocabulary of the guitar. Of course, it was Allan Holdsworth who created this; Shawn Lane abd EVH greatly kept it alive like a flame. I realize that the harmonic complexity of the tracks vary FLOW

@openmind1984 The signal from the out of an effects loop is the sound of the preamp. It's that signal that's fed into a computer interface and then all the effects (and in this case cabinet impulses) are added in Logic

hey tom. do you use the allan holdsworth/brett garsed "hammer-off" technique thing where your descending legato notes are hammered rather than pulled-off. it's my guess that  you seem to get a very smooth consistent tone.
