It seems to me the Dream is unhappy with the first three Alices. So it punishes them. It kill the First Alice of Spades, the Second Alice of Diamonds, and eternally curses the Third Alice of Clovers. However, it was happy with the final Alice, the Heart. Why? Because these two revelled in the Dream and explored it, paying attention to the dream. So, the Dream forever trapped them inside, because it didn't want to get forgotten.

These are my thoughts.

@atticusandzanelovers It's not a show, it's a voice synthesizer program, used to generate voices. They made the illustrated characters for the voicebanks to make it more interesting^^

And the other question: The first alice(Meiko) was trapped like a criminal in the woods, the second alice(Kaito) killed himself, the third alice(Miku) was poisoned(I think), and the fourth alice(Rin & Len), Len killed Rin and then himself. So that's why you hear about different alice's.
