at my tkd we just cut our belts ant tie them like a dressing robe lol =D

Do you allow two layers to show in the back? We were never allowed to do this, just crossing in the back I mean. One side should be tucked under the other so that only one layer shows all the way around.

We teach our advanced students and all adults to wrap the belt so that the belt does not cross in the back. For the beginning children and their parents, we teach it this way to get them started.

Yeah it is a pretty difficult thing to learn. Just getting the knot right is a challenge for most of my students! One thing at a time :)
