idk about u but based on my experience, its much easier to move wen ur guards are down. its like using some w8 to move a much greater weight. and its easier for twisting ur hips

I agree somewhat. In my last WTF style match, I got frustrated because I kept knocking my opponent down with front kicks and side kicks to his body, but I never scored a point. Meanwhile, his spinning back kick barely grazed the top of my helmet (I ducked) and he scores two points easy.
Although the official rules state that if a player falls down as he's scoring a point the point is negated, judges get caught up in the moment and award a point anyway.

One huge problem is that you can fall down without penalty.
In ITF Taekwondo, no matter the circumstance, you get a deduction if you lose balance.
In WTF you can score a kick, then fall down on purpose to prevent your opponent from kicking you in return.
THIS SUCKS.
WTF looks elegant, but the rules JUST STINK.
