Excellen sounds different because her character has an American 'accent'. She is often seen (jokingly or not) misquoting Japanese or misreading kanji in game. This doesnt happen to Brooklyn though who is also American.

They should've gotten the same people who worked on Divine Wars to work on this as well. Only issue I have up till now is that Excellen's hair is supposed to be orange and not yellow >.<

Divine wars was terrible, thank goodness they got some people in here who know how to make the mechs look good whilst fighting. That should be the number one priority for any anime based on SRW

@pieman2906 Hmm really? I thought it was okay, to each his own I guess. But imo, the fact that the PTs become animated like this makes it no different from the gundam anime. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying that I hate the series, in fact it's the other way around, it's just that i preferred it in a different way, thats all.

there is a bit inconsistency animation in this SRWOGTI, look at Alt eisen's Revovling Stake between 2:21 - 2:24 The stake is too long, but after that in the next scene the stake is short.

oh well......as long this anime shows kick-assness of the battle i don't mind. Just for my future reference

You gonna watch mecha anime because of character's art? Go back to your Divine Wars then, it had good art but horrible CG cel-shaded robots but it's ok, cuz' you watch it because of how character looks like, right?

Sarcasm aside, this is what I was waiting for. Alt shaking, charging towards the enemy like in the game, theme pops out and we see Kyosuke finishing off enemy with a nice stance all wrapped up in beautiful animation. And as add on we have bouncing boobs. Yup, everything is there.

yep, all what we wanted in game, it's there now. But i kinda think if Reversal (Raul and Fiona) character will gonna there or not in this anime. Or they just follow the OG 2 GBA story, not OG2 OGS in PS2

Anymore? Honestly, Ryusei could be a stick figure and Axel could be a Slime for all I care, if they can deliver this kind of mech action throughout, I'm sold. I mean, this is Super ROBOT Wars, for 'sakes. I'm here to watch Alt Eisen beat things around, not a 20-minute narrative done by Axel, cool man as he is.

Besides, the animated Kyosuke looks better than on lineart, so there's some hope there.
