My wife was a dog groomer for 2 years and pits were the friendliest dogs she groomed! The smaller dogs like chihuahuas, and poodles were the ones who were more apt to bite!!!!!!! my brother's pit and another pit were playing once and the other pit locked onto her neck, so out of defence my brother's pit locked on also. he simple told Mary to stop and hit her nose once and she unlocked her jaw immediately, while the owner of the other pit stood there without a clue how to get his dog off which led to my 20 year old, 230lb football playing brother to physically force the other dog's jaw open. Dog's can not control how they are raised. humans are the only one's to blame.
honestly the only pits i've ever seen that are bad (a super small population) were only bad because of how they were raised. My brother saved a pit from abuse, and took it to the vet and was told it wouldn't live more than a week longer. She's 2 years old now, healthy, strong, and beautiful. I've never seen any dog nicer to children or smaller dogs in my life than pit bulls. She's also extremely obedient and good with security.
i cant find an apartment were i live because my dog is half pit. ive had him since a puppy , i raised him and i know he would never attack anyone, lol hes a big fraidy cat for being a dog. but because hes half pit all the apartments in my area wont allow me to rent an apt. stop this sterotype of pits are evil. theres bad owners, no bad dogs

i used to have a pit bull. i grew up with him. he protected me ALOT. he saved my life from a snake. i fell off my bike & got knocked out & he dragged me back to my house. i loved him. he was loyal. not alll pittbulls are bad. only if you train them to be bad.
This made me cry and I do not cry easily. This breed is so mistreated it's horrible. Thank god the majority of those dogs found homes and were rehabilitated. This is the sweetest breed, they're loyal to a fault and only want to make YOU the owner happy.

I actually rescued my pitty... I found him in a parking lot barely walking. After several vet visits and 3 years of LOVE he is the goofy boy any dog should be! He is a major family member in my house! I pray more people can see the heart of this amazing breed!
Pitbulls are the best damn worker dog class, they are super playful and full of energy, people forget that they are dogs built to be dominate towards other dogs and non family members. That's a good video. I wish everyone could see it. Pits can't control the way they are raised and that's what it all boils down to. They love their human so much that they'll do whatever to make them happy and that's the truth. I have 13 pits a wife and five kids. I am lucky enough to now and then experience the love of a pitbull [she belongs to my adult son and his family]. I could no longer count the tears I have shed seeing stories of cruelty towards those sweeties. i used to have a pit bull. i grew up with him. he protected me ALOT. he saved my life from a snake. i fell off my bike & got knocked out & he dragged me back to my house. i loved him. he was loyal. not alll pittbulls are bad. only if you train them to be bad.

(c) my point to sharing that story with you all is because pitbulls have a bad rep one pit raised the wrong way attacks one person the rest of the breed gets shot down. my dog didnt attack anyone and these people that put him down knew him since the day i brought him home. fear and ignorance is the killer here people. I actually rescued my pitty... I found him in a parking lot barely walking. After several vet visits and 3 years of LOVE he is the goofy boy any dog should be! He is a major family member in my house! I pray more people can see the heart of this amazing breed!

Pitbulls are the best damn worker dog class, they are super playful and full of energy, people forget that they are dogs built to be dominate towards other dogs and non family members. They are super protectors and must be taught harder then most dogs, the wrong people end up getting pits. Another thing is they require lots of attention, because pitbulls are known to to nuts when left alone at a young age. You got to know the dog before getting it. people are fucking lazy.

@codytandog makes sure you ADOPT and NOT buy ... dont bother owing a pittie if you are GOIN TO BUY ONE... there are thousands everyday being pts cuz ppl wants a CUTE LIL PUPPY...then when they are 1-2 and cant handle them.. they get rid of them.. you can also rescue puppies.. but if you never have had experience with the breed before.. id recomend rescuing one thats a lil more mature... so u can skip the trials of an adolescense!!

I am lucky enough to now and then experience the love of a pitbull [she belongs to my adult son and his family]. I could no longer count the tears I have shed seeing stories of cruelty towards those sweeties. It might just be a rumor, but I have heard that MICHAEL VICK now wants a pit to make up for what he did to his previous ones. In my opinion he would first have to endure the suffering that they did.....but no.....he once again has become an "AMERICAN HERO". Where is justice????????
