And please dont compare metal bands to people like JT, theres a huge diff between a metal band which makes all its own music writes its own tunes and corporate dirtbags who have radio drivel pumped out for them and need to lip sync to do a live show. I'm constantly amazed to see the comments on youtube. I come here to listen to some good music and I hear a really beautiful song, I mean what I consider as beautiful, and the only things that I can see are dialogue of people argueing of what good metal is. A guy doesn't find that brutal enough for him and doesn't like it, so he feel oblige to compare it to a music that has nothing to do with it. And now instead of having people speaking about the music, you get that. I just love that song!

Death metal (I know this is melodic dm) does have a bad reputation and is rumored to be satanic, and the singing style would lead you to think so, but this is but a myth. While it is true Death metal has some satanic bands, possibly more so than other genres, this does not mean that all bands of this genre are satanic, like not all rap is written by black people from America.
