"alright who kicked me this time!" LOL i don't know why that line has stuck with me allll these years, but it's the best part, LOL. thanks for sharing.
I am not proud of the way they handled this. I grew up on the streets litterally homeless teen. As a psychiatrist and a journalist they should have known the dangers that girl had to deal with and that she had to have a way to protect herself
@Offended83Shadow times & the way tv handled situations like this was alot different 25 years ago when this was filmed; today's society & media outlets would (and does) deal with it alot differently. I think you realize that right?
thanks for posting this even though you weren't a big fan of the show... it's interesting when parents teach their kids to give to the less fortunate, but then when they do something so generous like this, it makes them re-think the lessons about giving to the poor!
By not being a big fan I mean I did watch if it was on and I happen to be around the set, but it wasn't one of those shows I went out of my way to see. But like I also said this is one of my favorite Christmas episodes.
Joanna Kerns was and still is smoking hot.

Doesn't seem that strange that she'd be carrying around a knife. Unarmed isn't a smart thing to be as a young homeless girl wandering in the street.

The Kid is Hallie Todd - she played Lizzie Mcguire's mom - Jo Mcguire - she looks so different with short black hair.
