@Duig It's cause the service. It's not on a 3G or 4G signal so it interferes with other electronic devices causing visual and audio feedback. My N900 did exactly the same thing with the EDGE network with AT&T, cause it didn't support the 3G band. EDGE & 2G are like AM radio great distances, weak signals. 4G & LTE is your FM, powerful with pocket coverage.
If you have rooted your phone, or are planning to do so, and have made a backup copy of your original ROM, I need a copy to restore my semi-bricked phone, please.
To anyone who is interested, this unbranded Eclipse phone is basically the HTC Magic, should you be looking for mods or upgrades.
This phone will work with an AT&T prepaid SIM card. The internet access can be through either 3G or WiFi. You can use WiFi even without a SIM card.
CAUTION: By default, the phone is set to use the 3G, or phone carrier band, to access the internet. EVEN IF you are not ACTIVELY on the internet the phone will keep polling the internet for updates, and it will CHARGE YOU AIR TIME!
The fix is simple: Go into the settings and TURN OFF permission to use SIM card for internet access.
the phone is good but the but has a very bad sound during a call, first i thought it was the 2 sim card that make some interference but no , even with 1 sim the call sound is very bad.......its a shame cuz the phone is really good for the price
