  • who did your heads?

  • Stupid question considering i've always used stock looking push rods (hardened), but where those fully adjustable push rods?

  • bummer you have the 561 castings, but hell of a nice job on the rest. I used a lot of the same stuff on my build (94 Formula M6) but went with a CC503 on 1.6 Ultra Pro Magnums, ported 374 castings, 875 lifters, 1.94/1.56 Manley stainless valves, raised plates, TPIS 58mm. Same headers but coated, SVO 30#, Walbro 255. Props for going 1.52RRs on the 847. That's perfect for them- 1.6RRs start to get close to coil bind on the 847 (.595" lift). Dyno tune put me at 377RWHP/371RWTQ.

  • @nanmilla search gm847 on streetfire you will find my video on there with the original sound.

  • @mjk3888 where did you get the true dual kit. Nice Camaro!!

  • Nice Vid.............Just finished my GM847 rebuild........What are the Numbers? I'm going to dynotune Mon. Looking for 400-450

  • hey man love the car! Looks like u out in alotta work in 'er! quick question did u swap out your injectors? did that really help?

  • my car is a 6speed only Automatics have torque converters. search the car forums and you will find one for sale somewhere.

  • whyd you go 1.5s not 1.6??

  • yeah why 1.5?

  • no need for 1.6's on unported heads. the cam alone creates enough extra lift on 1.5's. now when i eventually get ported heads I may change to 1.6's but right now it would just cause more unnecessary valve spring tension with no gain to show for it.

  • you make more power with 1.6's

  • Educate yourself before you just start making assumptions. The car won't make more power just because it has higher lift. Its a BALANCE between volume and velocity!

  • cc306 IS NOT A gm847!!! I appreciate your advice, but I built a budget 350 for 32 ford and it made 17 rwhp more with 1.6's over 1.7's! The car made a total of 524rwhp through an automatic. All that was on stock internals. Some cars even run better with staggered sizes such as 1.5's on intake and 1.6's on exhaust.

  • Nice car I want an 847 so bad, rad video good choice of song too

  • Did you keep stock clutch in?

  • clutch was swapped out for a stage 2 SPEC before this project began.
